We are looking for someone who demonstrates:
o A full set of skills that allow you to develop ideas, from hand sketching up to advanced prototyping
o Passion for understanding users and solving their problems
o Outstanding creativity and attention to details
o High technical and engineering understanding
o Good aesthetic sense, the ability to develop complete devices, understanding users, positive attitude towards technical challenges and open ended thinking
o A vision in which physical/digital interaction, high-technology and user needs, converge
Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…
o ID or ID & Eng bachelor or equivalent
o Fluent English
o A good knowledge of CAD tools (CREO is a bonus, Solid Works)
o The necessary skills to: Sketch, Model making, 3D modeling, rendering, Adobe CS.
o The ability to communicate your design process
o Knowledge of creative design methodologies
o Up to date on latest ID/UX trends, with focus on electronic products
o Skills in User Interface are a plus

We are currently looking for a young professional with Industrial Design background to join our ID/UI/UX department for an internship at Flex Milan Design Center. In this role you will join an experienced team to pro-actively support in the design of connected medical devices and systems, for the Medical Industry. You will have the opportunity to see the full development of electronic products, focusing on industrial design and user experience.
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…
o Support the ID/UX team in ideation of meaningful devices & experiences for our customers' products
o Analyze user needs and propose ID solution for devices
o Design highly usable devices
o Actively participate in the process of transferring design intent to engineering dept.
