We are looking for a Purchasing Packaging Trainee for our office in Venaria Reale (Turin).
The Purchasing Packaging Trainee, within Chemical Commodity Team, will report directly to Packaging Manager

ACTIVITIES

The Purchasing Packaging Trainee will be in charge of the following activities:
-Verify the product sub-categories supplied by packaging suppliers.
-Organize the product sub-categories for sub-category and geographical area.
-Analyze and identify the potential growth opportunity regarding product perimeter for each supplier inserted into suppliers panel.
-Analyze and identify the potential growth opportunity regarding geographical perimeter for each supplier inserted into suppliers panel.
-Verify with people in the plants the qualitative and logistic level of the suppliers.
-Support people in the plants and Commodity Team in the creation of an evaluation scale regarding packaging suppliers.
-Verify on the portal the missing documents and ask suppliers to provide them.
-Verify with people in the plants the status of suppliers panel decrease (P2K).
-Support the plant in resourcing activity about outbound suppliers previously identified by P2K.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate has got the following requirements:

-Fluent English.
-High knowledge of Excel, especially pivot and vertical lookup.
-Good communication skills into a multicultural environment.
-Capacity to summarize the activities and completion status in a PowerPoint presentation.
-Economic trend analysis capacity.
-Price breakdown analysis capacity (raw material cost , exchange rate impact, production and delivery cost).
-Ability to catalog with ratio different product categories.
-Knowledge of technical language in the field of chemical categories.
